DACOLECTIVA

DACOLECTIVA is a non-profitable Youth Cultural Association recently set up by a group
of young artists, with the aim of creating and promoting initiatives intended to stimulate
cultural dynamism in the visual, performing, literary and editorial arts.
We aim to contribute towards the development of an innovative vision of society’s
cultural panorama, presenting new dynamic and creative approaches, as well as
encouraging cultural exchanges (either through artistic residencies, scholarships, tours,
or partnerships with other artists abroad). It is hoped that these will lead to shows,
exhibitions and / or other cultural entertainment and leisure events, in the areas of
intervention mentioned above.
This will allow new artists to have the opportunity to showcase, promote and / or sell
their work, as well as providing the public with privileged access to the most recent and
innovative ideas emerging in our art sector. We believe this will help draw attention to
the creative potential of the Portuguese, and also encourage and anchor new cultural
and artistic habits.
